Maybe I've been playing too much Call of Duty maybe it's just that I really like the color blue but I actually kind of like that one.
There’s a Scheels an hour away that’s got the multicam version in stock it looks like. I’ve wanted the 1301 for a while but don’t like shotguns enough to spend that much money. I also don’t tend to like MC on ARs but it looks good on the A300. Considering I’m hoping to move back to CO next year, I might need a more capable commie state gun than my 590 so the A300 is looking pretty good.
Everything I've seen about the A300 online says it's almost as good as the 1301 for half the price. The only thing to consider is there's currently no after market stocks for it and it supposedly recoils a little harder, and it supposedly can have issues with lighter shotgun loads. Recoil and lighter loads aren't an issue for home defense though so really the only issue is do you care about having a different stock.
I ordered a Gray A300 Ultima Patrol today and a Reptilia Saddle Mount and a Holosun 509T. I'll post pictures and a report once I get everything. I already have the light,sling, and Vang Comp Shell Cards.

Why for?
I picked up my new A300 UP yesterday. Bought it through Cabela's/Bass Pro Shops. Mine has the two piece mag tube cover with the recessed portion to stop the factory barrel clamp from walking. Not an issue for me as I removed it as soon as I got home.
I installed a Grovtec QD Sling Mount in the stock as I remove slings from HD long guns and prefer the easy on and off option. I installed a Streamlight Rail Mount ProTac HL/X Pro. As I prefer to streamline attachment points as much as possible I filed the locator tabs off the back of a M Lok Mount and used longer screws to mount it on top of the Streamlight Rail Mount. Vang Comp Shell Card for spare ammo. I added a Reptilia Saddle Mount and Holosun 509Tx2 GR. Hopefully getting to the range tomorrow.

Dialed in the 509T on my A300 UP. Fiocchi 1300 FPS Low Recoil Slugs @ 50 yds. (The 4 rounds at 6 and 11 oclock were with the iron sights). I wanted to Pattern FFC 8 Pellet at 5,10,15,20, but the number of people on the range wasn't really allowing that. I did get to put some through it to check function and POI, no issues. I put some 1145 FPS 7 1/2 and it functioned fine. All in all around 100 rounds. Hopefully I can really wring it out soon. I'm very pleased with it so far.
