Anyone know if I have a stock replacement option here? Everything I have read or watched regarding stock replacement on the 590 deals with the flathead screw. I assume this is a function of the age of my shotgun. Any suggestions? Thank you
The SGA is going to install with the supplied hex key screw, so all it matters is just taking it apart, and that would not seem to matter?

    Hello,
    I just bought a brandnew Mossberg 590A1 M-Lok GS.
Of course I can't wait to take it to the shooting range. Yet this is my first shotgun and I want to avoid mistakes that might damage the gun in the long run.
Ist there anything I should consider prior to shooting it first? Or any tips on maintenance?
If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.

Of all of the guns in the world, this one is probably as simple as simple gets
I would lubricate it (probably a little more than you think it needs) and go shoot it.
It would probably lead to a better experience if you did some dry-fire cycles (if you have a safe place) before you went.
