Catholic activists have been buying token shares in companies and putting forth various shareholder proposals for a long time. Tobacco companies used to be their main target, but they've dabbled in climate change and other issues. Guns are their new focus and last year they convinced a bunch of index fund managers to vote in favor of making Ruger issue a human rights report.

I guess now they've decided to move on to nuisance shareholder lawsuits...

Maybe I should buy small amounts of stock in publicly-traded corporations that hate freedom, like Meta and Google and start harassing them...

I think if a Catholic had coined the phrase it wouldn't be a mass murderer. Not being a Catholic I'm not sure.
