Took a few of my K-38 target masterpiece.
14-3, from the early 80s.

Thanks to the magic of Gunbroker, I can now participate:
S&W 624. It came with the original grips, but I like the fit of these Altamonts a bit better.
One of my deer hunting handguns from the mid-80's, a Model 657 (.41 Magnum - 8 3/8" barrel) with some tweaking by the Mag-Na-Port Custom Shop. My longest and most difficult shot came from this gun which turned out to be about 70 yards off-hand on a deer standing straight-on to me. My 170 gr Sierra JHP handload (@1500 fps) entered and exited the center of the neck just below the white throat patch with instant DRT results. It's not the most accurate S&W I've ever owned, but it's accounted for 6 deer so far; three with the original iron sights and three with the Leupold 2X scope.
The only thing worse than arrogance is false humility.
