Perhaps we are not really seeing the target. Perhaps there was a different target taped over this one and those “hits” would be “on the money” but for the “real” target being removed. We simply do not have the “key” don’t you see.

Amusing caption but I feel troubled by the image.

It looks like the man in the picture with the old Smith & Wesson is violating all four of Jeff Cooper's safety rules for gun handling:


#1. Treat all guns as if they are loaded. Check
#2. Never point a gun at anything you aren't willing to kill or destroy. Check
#3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target. Check
#4. Be certain of your target and what is around and behind it. Check

For all I know the dude with the pistol is a plain clothed detective in the process of apprehending a dangerous female felon who is about to inflict a fatal wound on him with a toothpick maliciously hidden in her hand, but I'm only guessing.
