    .40 Bar-Sto Barrels

Does anyone run the .40 match barrel from Bar-Sto? How has the reliability been?

    In what?

The hardball bullseye guys love them.

    Most everyone else likes Kart.

Sorry, Bill. I guess I showed my Glock parochialism. The answer to your question is a G-23. What I'm looking for is a quality barrel that fully supports the case head. I'm thinking of playing with the .40 to see how much the velocity can be goosed.

I would do that in another gun. But then, I'd probably do it in another caliber too.

    Smile.

Yes, of course, but I prefer the "feel" of the G-23 over the 10mm alternatives.

I want to go on record here as saying "This is a bad idea."

40Auto is a nasty little round for experimentation. And the Glock 40s are, arguably, the worst.

Have KKM barrels in 1 G23 and 3 G22's, to run hard cast. So far, so good.

I really don't like .40, but that is another story.

I wouldn't play around with hot loads an the G23 40S&W combo.

Really 1065 fps is fast enough for the 180.

No need to shoot 135gr at 1350 either

The loads the Dr / listed seem to be doing well like the HST 180gr

    I ran a BarSto .40 for PPC ...

This was my first 6 shot group out of it at 15 yards.

It was easier to reload since I didn't need to push-size/roll-size brass after shooting.
