The general consesus seems to be that the ACRO/509t style cross-bolt clamp style optic mount is superior for pistols because it eliminates the failure point of screws. I keep hoping someday to try one like but the ACRO dot is 3.5 MOA and the 509t is a 2 MOA and for my eyes larger dots work better.

There's newer dots coming out every day though so are there any that have a big dot?
