    Thank you for posting pictures of that cool revolver. And I learned something as I was not familiar with the .38/44 and had to research it. Seeing these pictures makes me want to pick up another N-frame S&W. I keep looking at a new 25-5 in .45 Colt for shooting bowling pins.

    My old 28-2 from 1966 that my Grandpop gave me in 1985, is going to be converted to 44spl. I love that caliber and I picked up a barrel and cylinder and dropped it off at the Gunsmith today. I hardly ever shot it as a 357, and love to load 44 Spl Skeeter loads!Name:  IMG_0159.jpg

    I happened into this modified 3.5” S&W 1917 for a song. A rib and a long Baughman ramp make this a sleek piece. Now I need a whip and fedora to go with this Indy gun.
