Has anyone tried the large frame TK kit?
I just ordered one for my 817UL (7 shot snub) which has always had problems with light primer strikes with the standard factory springs. I'm hoping the firing pin may provide relief from the problem and I might actually be able to use this revolver for practical purposes someday.
I installed one today, there were no issues with fitting on my 856 Ulta-lite.
I already had the Galloway spring kit installed
Bought three kits and attempted first install today…
Factory firing pin where it goes through breechface is .077”
All 3 of TK ones are .080”-.081”
Tried one of the .080” ones… then spent an hour getting it unstuck from the breechface to reinstall the factory one.
Don’t have the patience to try another one tonight.
@jetfire ,
Any idea what the factory specifications are for the firing pin diameter?

I don't recall if I mentioned it in this thread or not, but we actually have several different specs for our firing pins. I'm thinking these might be based off the medium frame spec and not the 856 spec.
I just talked to TK Custom, and these pins are for the 5T models: 5T: 85/605/905/380 UL
There are different specs for firing pins which are here:
Find bellow a list of some firing pins centerfire:
Firing Pin model 5T: 85/605/905/380 UL
Firing Pin model 856: 856/327/73
Firing pin model 6T: Medium/Compact/Large/Extra-large frame
Firing pin model Polymer: Public Defender Poly/ 605 Poly Protector/ 85 Poly Protector
I'm going to see if I can get Brazil to share the TDP with me for the pins so we can get a full line built.
I must have had enough tolerance stack for it to work in my 856 without issue.
Caleb & I were each having these conversations simultaneously with Eli @ TK Customs.
I can't say enough good things about the customer service from both TK & @jetfire.
After talking with Eli, I may just pull a @JCN and lightly open up a firing pin channel on one of my steel framed 856's as a guinea pig gun.
I'm quite convinced that the extended firing pin is the missing secret sauce of making these things run with silly light DA triggers.
Eli said he's pulling down the listings for these kits until he can get everything perfect, if you ordered via ebay, click the return button and he'll get you taken care of.
Eli was great to talk to & is very, very appreciative of Caleb's assistance.
