FYI: I have registered this shorter (and perhaps easier to remember) domain name and pointed it to the current domain https://www.edclightbuilder.com
So the site can now be reached with www.edclb.com or by searching edclb with Google.

Thanks Bill!
SEO is an interesting process. Of course the first part of the process is researching relevant search words and phrases, then deciding which ones to go after. A few search phrases I decided were my best bet include;
- edc flashlight for self defense
- edc flashlight for self protection
- edc flashlight for situational awareness
- EDC Flashlight Technique
- EDC Flashlight Selection
Currently I do well on Google with these phrases. I'm slowly creeping up with "edc flashlight" which is obviously a very competitive search phrase.
Yes, content is king - this is why I'm always updating the EDCLB Articles section with new content. Regularly adding new and relevant content is a very effective method of SEO.
FYI, at this time I do not plan on hosting a website on edclb.com, I'm simply using the domain name as a redirect to the main site. Who knows, that may change in the future.
Thanks again for pointing out the thread!
