I use the middle finger, and don't need to shift any other part of my average-sized hands or fingers to do so. So it's plenty fast. It also doesn't go anywhere near the trigger.

With the trigger finger there's (for me) a very slight shift, and like others I prefer to keep that one indexed.

I prefer the HK paddle release over a conventional button release.

Just picked up my p30L lem. Trigger is very nice (got the extra light). So far I really like the flat trigger. Breaks right at 90 degrees. My hands are small and with the smallest grip configuration my trigger finger has no issues w reach.

The 407c I installed was very tight on the plate. The optic body had to be tapped in lightly.

Will take it for a spin on Sunday.

I’m terrible at describing trigger pulls, but the amount of leverage my finger gets right at the break point/wall is surprising bc of the flat trigger. It is obviously not a 1911 flat faced trigger but for that moment at the wall you can’t tell the difference especially with the near zero overtravel.

I need to shoot this gun.

Has anyone had experience with talon grip tape in their “pro” configuration? The ones I ordered have bits of colored rubber… subtle…Name: 6AF8F8E4-1E2B-49D4-95F9-9AD551EDE5B2.jpg

I have, I'm trying to remember what gun I had/have it on - I like it more than the Talon "regular" rubber grips, and I'm sure it's a lot more comfortable to carry (and on clothing) than their sandpaper/silicon carbide grips are. The regular Talon grips can get slick with sweat and honestly I've had more than one installation of them where the glue holding them on got all soft and the rubber panels started sliding around. The "pro" version seems to solve those problems...but I also haven't spent a huge amount of time with them on, so YMMV.

The mechanical accuracy is there… when the shooter can milk that out!
That flat trigger w the LTT trigger job does it for me. That squishy and mushyness of the stock trigger is completely gone. At 89 degrees it’s like a rolling break, which breaks at 90-91 degrees. Over travel stops at 91-92 degrees.
This is freestyle at 25y, slow fire.

I wasn't a fan of the rubbery ones. Didn't work well with my sweaty hands. I can't speak to the PRO config. Based on Steve Fisher's recommendation, I'm going to give Howie's Hockey Tape a try.

I concur. The Pro version came on my XD-E.
