Fairness leads to extinction much faster than harsh parameters.
Great news... The fight goes on.
"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." - Thomas Jefferson, Virginia Constitution, Draft 1, 1776
This is good news, but the fight isn't over. Parts of S.150 can still be included either in the text of, or as amendments to, other bills. I wouldn't bet against an attempt to amend other pending legislation to include magazine capacity restrictions (most likely) or even restrictions on the transfer of firearms with certain cosmetic features (less likely but still plausible).

Smoke and mirrors , watch the other hand closely.
Good news. No vote on that to be beat up with. Of course the flip side is that if it is restricted to policies that sound more "reasonable" it may be harder than it would be otherwise to defeat.
I beleive they also need 60 votes to make an amendment stick.
I do my best proofreading after I hit "Send"
Maybe now people will stop hoarding all the ARs?
And ammo ;(

I'm curious how long it will take to fill all of the existing back-orders.
Also remember that just because the ban at the federal level may be dead, we still have a lot of state issues to deal with.
