Midway USA is listing the CZ 712 utility as in stock. It's the first sub-$1300 shotgun from a brand I recognize that I've seen in a while. I'm not exactly a shotgun nerd, but I didn't even know these things existed. What do we know about them?

Is it made in Italy?
Does the name start with a B?
Does it end in a vowel ?
Welcome to Africa, bring a hardhat.
I did notice that it took a benelli Nova magazine extension, but that didn't clue me in.
So you're saying in shotgun world manufacturers don't just use the equivalent of Glock or AR parts/mags/sights?
Thanks Big T

I had one for a short time (maybe just over a year?) and only made 2 range trips with it.
It’s light, the 20” barrel barks (the target puller didn’t like it when it was my turn to shoot ) and it did NOT like the cheap, bulk pack (Winchester? I don’t recall) ammo from Walmart. Multiple failures to extract/eject leading to failures to feed which is a problem when shooting doubles. It seemed to run OK when I fed it better quality fodder.
Sold it off to fund something else since I was already shotgun poor at the time. I don’t know that I’d buy another, but if I was given one and a case of good ammo, I wouldn’t be upset.
Bad ideas, brilliant execution
My Lord, whatever I done, don't strike me blind for another couple of minutes!
Thanks everyone.
