Nobody mentioned Walt Disney yet?
For all PNW peeps: JP Patches
Network: Adam 12
I’m 58, so all the usual Saturday morning stuff. Plus watching the Farm Report on WGN waiting for the weekday and weekend kid shows to start.
Prime time, one of my earliest memories is being pissed that I was sent to bed the night a brand new show premiered - The FBI.. It was my bedtime, and my grandparents probably worried about the subject matter. According to Wikipedia I would have been 3.

Mr. Ed, My Favorite Martian, Super Chicken, The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show (my mom loved that one), the Hannah-Barberra cartoons, some cowboy-kiddie show on Boston TV, and Bozo on WGN where some little girl told Bozo to “cram it, clown”.

Those who fail to learn history correctly -- they are simply doomed.
Sea Hunt anyone? Hogan’s Heroes is still a favorite. Zorro, Dragnet, Adam 12, Emergency, Star Trek, The Big Valley, Gunsmoke, F Troop...
I miss those days.
Anyone remember a mid 70’s show, titled (I think) “Bearcats”? Two guys in a Stutz Bearcat with a Maxim mounted, driving around the South West US, fighting banditos on the border.
About all we ever played as kids was either “Army” or “Star Trek” so I guess Star Trek had an impact. Lots of westerns: Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Wild Wild West, etc. Plus Dragnet, and later on various sitcoms and then MASH. But the first moon landing was definitely the big thing.
Although I’m realizing I have little sense of time on these subjects; couldn’t tell wether most shows were from when I was 6 years old or 13.
I watched this religiously every Saturday night at 2300 when the TV stations signed off.
