I seem to recall years ago, that Citizen would display certain Aqualand dive watches in water at watch shops. Brain is old and Google is failing me so it may just be a figment of my imagination. Not every watch was in water just a display model. Cool idea, certainly caught my attention.

Cool in concept, but what a PIA to buy a watch in a bag of water.
If this sort of thing caught on, we might be able to buy a Glock 21 packaged in a small plastic box full of sand; pre-tortured, for folks who like their tacticool with a side of badass.
I'm guessing you can't order one with a leather strap!
