    Deformation Bulets

I was looking to identify a 9mm head stamp.

While searching I found the RUAG website and a little bit of info on there Deformation 9mm load.

Other than letting air out of tires or splash back ,ricochet what else can they be used for?

One the first page of there Deformation 9mm load -

One of there bullets looks some what like a Barnes solid copper HP and with a unique ( well to me ) plastic insert !

I also wonder if the Nosler SD loads will share the same type of plastic insert.

In urban areas, backsplashes and ricochets pose a significant risk to all parties involved.
Is that really true, or just something uninformed bureaucrats worry about?

What about the danger of missing the target which leads to backsplashes and ricochets?

Don't worry, it's OK if our guys miss, we got this special ammo that will only kill one innocent bystander per round...

Are there any groups that care about shooting out tires?

It looks like a clone of the 9mm German Police Training Round made by MEN.

Not too much was brought into the country IIRC. Great barrier blind load, but penetration is very deep. Not bad if worried about Kevlar or deflection. Super accurate, super clean.
