What's with the hiccup in his draw right as he clears the holster?
I liked watching him muzzle everything uprange every time he Woo-rolled.

But hey... he has a cool beard and tatts so he must be HSLD.
The there's the whole Spartan 360... that's just too awe inspiring for mere words.

I saw that too, but I thought that was b/c he was so high speed that his face was up against some major G's

The hiccup on the draw is common to see when using a Serpa, even from very, very good shooters.

I don't associate with Serpa people doing speed draws. I like standard issue holes and nothing extra.

I can't find the video but I recall seeing Todd Jarrett stuttering his draw when using a Serpa, although his stutter is really fast.

Actually that is a perfectly executed Hondo roll.

When me & Caleb took that class from Todd J., he talked about half the people there into running the Serpa. I was, like, "Et tu, Todd?" This was '08. I'm practically a Serpa-hatin' hipster. (To be fair, the CQC holster from the same shindig is still my go-to range holster for casual 1911 gaming. When I can get it back from my roommate.)

I can explain it to you. I can’t understand it for you.

I tried the Serpa when they were new and there were few options for a holster that covered what I needed it to do. Turned out to be a huge fail for a number of reasons.

With the ALS system on the market there is zero reason to carry a Serpa.
