Gold Dot 45 acp standard p 230 gr. in 4.25 barrel

Hello, first post on this informative forum.
Will the GD 230 standard pressure load expand reliably from a 4.25 barrel in flesh?
I am using Ranger T +P at present but find muzzle jump a bit much in my 1911 PD.
I would use HST standard P but can not find them. The GD is available.

    Don't see why it wouldn't.

The GD works fine. Note that +P use in 1911's has definitely been documented to accelerate wear and shorten the service life...
