The stuff seems to work well for a grease.
I use motul chain lube for shifter karts. I have tons of it and you can't feel the friction at all when cycling the gun. Down side is you have to lube more often, but it is more like an in between of lube and grease. It's really awesome stuff and keeps my chains from breaking after 100s of laps.
