The Ameriglo Hackathorn sights I've seen tend to have a much wider than average rear notch, which you can adapt to easily enough with practice. I believe the notch on the Trijicon HD's is narrower.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

Pretty sure the Hack's rear notch is .180". The HD's do indeed seem narrower than that.

yea I am not a fan of how wide it is. 156 for me seems perfect.

I think I'll be selecting the Heinie Qwik version.

Stacking the two dots will be most intuitive to me given the experience with the stock Sig sights.

Ultimately, if I dont like them, I'll remove, replace and move on. It's not like it's written in stone.
    If not me, then who?

Please re-read my post-the Hackathorn REAR sight wasn't up for consideration.

If I'm not mistaken the pro-operator rear has the same notch width as the Hack rear. If you want a narrower notch you could look at the operator rear.

I think any of them will work well.

I never tried the Hack with the Pro Operator; I used it with their wide Warren-esque figure 8 night sight setup and the bottom of the rear notch was too high. This resulted in a lot of high shots because the eye naturally wants to see the entire orange dot of the front sight but proper alignment required it to be "sunset" a little bit. This probably won't happen with the Pro Operator because of its 3-dot design.

The Trijicon HDs worked very well.

Personally, the CAP/Pro-Operator worked best of the ones I tried. But again I haven't done the Hack/Pro combo.

They give pretty much the same sight picture except for the shape of the orange colored part
