Now that is cool. Well played, Beretta.

I'm assuming it's plain straight blowback? I wonder what the recoil will be like.

I read the Beretta spec page and didn't see reference to if it had a decocker or not?

    Dear Beretta,

I like the arched mainspring housing (backstrap, whatever we're calling it today). It fits me and works well. The curve also matches the rest of the gun. Please knock it off with the flat bullshit.

I do not care about anyone else.

    Warmest Regards,

Wowza! I really like that. How’s the trigger? Da/Sa, right?

Very neat looking pistol! If I was competing in backup gun matches, I'd be snagging one. (Looking at you, @LHS - hehehee)

Some immediate question leap to mind - what parts interchange with a Beretta 92? Will we get a trigger job in a bag?

I am curious about the size comparison with my 92X Compact. Off to find some calipers.

None or maybe the grip screw. Different action, caliber, frame, etc.

@Ben_G, will it come with conversion grips like the 92X series? Or is there the possibility they will be available in the future?

If the price is even halfway competitive with the Ruger Security-380 I'm going to have some serious thinking to do. I've been thinking about an 84 or 85 (whichever is the double stack) but the price and being out of production put the brakes on the idea.

Both are. The 85 (derp, 81) is a 12-round gun in 32 ACP and an absolute gem of a handgun.
