Only 1,900 guns? Even realizing that not every MOS rates a handgun, I would have thought their military was larger.
I don't think so. A few years ago NZ got rid of all its fighter planes (I think they had 8 old A-4s).
They were probably smart and just figured if they were good enough for the Brits to pick as their new military sidearm they must be good to go for their small needs. Imagine that kind of logic in our government.
