    In the latter, we agree 100%.

    In the former, less so. I look at all the....loses that questionable liability suits have cost me and I don't get all warm and fuzzy.

    I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't assign my normal level of skepticism to the MSM when they reported on this case. I wanted what they reported to be true, so I just accepted it when it was presented as such. I watched the film last night and it was eye-opening.

    Just a few month ago, I settled a (frivolous to me) complaint, out of court. My attorney and I were certain that our chance of winning was VERY good, but defending myself in court would cost me millions, which of course I don't have. I made a business decision to settle. Not being able to defend your reputation is heartbreaking and painful. and pretty damn expensive.
