This may be old hat for ToddG or Caleb perhaps, but not for me or any of my buddies.

Got a shipment of ammo the other day.

A pallet full of ammo. 55,000+ rounds. That was pretty damn cool.

Unfortunately I couldn't hang on to most of it. It was used in lieu of cash as a partial payment on a job I photographed, so most of it was dispersed to the crew who worked for ammo instead of a check. But still, having that much ammo sit in my garage for a day or two definitely was cool. And who knows, it probably put me on a government watch list or something too.

A few years ago I had a friend helping me move out of a girlfriend's place. We opened the garage where I had my stuff packed, he stopped for a minute, then the conversation went "Chuck, that's a pallet of ammo", "Yes Vic, it is".... "Chuck, that's the coolest thing I've ever seen"

    Those were the days.

Nice collection. Do you have a favorite? One of my neighbors has a Woods built Colt and I make him an offer on it every time I see him; he says it will never be for sale.

I'll answer in a bit, as I have a Garthwaite incoming. But right now, the Woods takes the cake (it's got a slot at Garthwaite for a trigger redo, and reprofiling the front sight). The Glenn is a real shooter, though.
