A good example has twice the value of good advice,...
Here is my new HK P30 with her older sister. A HK USP45c V1 converted to LEM light.
This is my Novak "Special Ops" Browning Hi-Power.
I'm planning on converting the P30 from a V2 to a V1 as soon as I can get the springs. This will give me a similar trigger pull weight on all three guns.

The OLD carry piece. M&P in .357SIG. I carried this when .357 lawman TMJ was ~17 bucks here. Good times.

I love that 442... I want one.
Bolt gun, similar to what we use at work
SR-15 with NF 2.5-10 and PVS-22 (usually wears a NF 1-4 in LaRue 1.93 mount)
870 with factory 14" barrel and Trijicon RMR dual illum
My two Gen4's, that unlike Todd, I've been very lucky with. They also the 'old' style without the back-bored slide. One has just under 4000 rounds and the other has just over 1000. No problems.
Tavor with Micro T-1 (yes, I know my cool tactical socks are showing... )
Finally, got my Heinies on my P30L.
Also had my gunsmith put in a heavier trigger return spring, with a lighter hammer spring. Same pull weights (if not a little lighter), with a more positive reset, and no problems with light primer strikes. Both guns have polished internals. Win-win in my book.

vecdran -- Excellent! Perfect setup, imho.
My current carry gun, that I'm also shooting in Single Stack and CDP this year, a Sig 1911 Tac Ops. Yes, it's dirty. I replaced the rear with a u-notch from 10-8 Performance.

So far the gun is at 1013 rounds with one malf in the second or third magazine.
