There are numerous advantages beyond CLEO, and many disadvantages to personally owning NFA items, versus the trust owning them.......maybe we can talk Sparks2112 into taking a side trip down NFA lane during Sunday's discussion to talk through a few points pertaining to trusts, and NFA ownership.

I'm probably going to file a couple form 1s here in the next few months, and would be very interested in your thoughts on this subject.
I am still going to transfer it into a Trust down the road, but I decided I didn't want a quicky (Quicken) version and having a bullet proof NFA Trust done right now wasn't in the cards.
Word.
That'll cost you another $200 transfer fee and stamp.
