Thread: The Obligatory Show Off Thread

  1. #1661

I was gonna post a thread when it was all cleaned up, but...

This is probably as close as it will ever be:

After springing for a second 650 I am probably set for my needs. Left to right:
Dillon 650#2 - This is the new one, will be used for 223/300BO, 45 and probably 38
Dillon 650#1 - I am loading enough 9mm now it is a PITA to try to get ahead so that I do not have to switch from whatever else I might be doing
Dillon 900 - This is for 20g, pretty exclusively for 3/4oz #9 for skeet
Posness Warren 800 Plus - This is for 12g, pretty exclusively for 3/4oz #9 for skeet
Dillon 550 - This one has been around forever, have setups for 380 (used once...), 38, 357, 45, 40, 44 (but 45 and probably 38 will move to the 650)

And here is another view that also shows the Rockchucker I have had since about 1973:

This also shows the neat toolbox my grandfather built as a government project when he was actually working for the government (WPAFB) and has all of his machinist tools in it.

BTW, going to try and get by with only one casefeeder for the 650, it is pretty easy to move and was half as much as the press when I bought the second one. I bought a simple knob to replace the screw to make it easier.

Both were gifts, both from females...

Also pictured is my Huckleberry Hound & Yogi Bear waste can I have had my entire life, being sixty maybe I am young at heart. It makes a cool sound when you toss a thousand spent primers into it!

    That Rock Chucker looks lonely.

I ran out of room, it gets plenty of use

ETA: The 550 is probably the lonely one.

It rides very well on a nice stiff belt. The loop is steel lines.

I chose this holster on advice of Red Nichols, who told me to select one that places the heavy N-frame cylinder squarely on the belt.
