Unless your splits are in the acceptable range ...... possibly.

Crap! That's the hole in my SD plan: I never measured my splits. I also never fired my RPG since i can't find a range that: a) will let me both work from the holster b) has a properly constructed backstop.

Looks like it's time for Plan B: Obtain & train up with an M107. On the bright side, at least the ammo costs will be more reasonable.

Kitten, I was headed towards that same joke.

On a side note, it's really weird to read that sentence which appears that I am referring to you as "kitten". No offense, but ewwww.

    I agree.

    R&D = ripoff & duplicate

Let someone else do the testing.

However, I'm not a fan of those shooting 40 S&W because that's what LEOs shoot (especially those just learning to shoot) but that is a different discussion.

It looks like everyone is pretty much in agreement. I think that there is a point to be made as was said early on that of the gun "feels" good in a new shooters hand they are likely to shoot it more, and I honestly can't think of any modern service pistols that don't feel reasonably ergonomic. Further proof that most new shooters have no clue as to what feels good in the hand is when I hand them an M&P and it's too big but a bodyguard .380 feels awesome. Then they go on to attempt to work the controls.
