I tried the Wendy's creamy Sriracha sauce and it does have a little kick but is nothing to write home about. Reminds me a little of McDonald's Jalapeno sauce. OTOH,Arby's three pepper sauce is surprisingly tasty. Not so much hot as flavorful. Biggest disappointment was when I over heard a fellow customer asking the cashier at the local Chinese/Thai fusion take out place for the hot sauce packets. I'm hoping for a Sriracha clone and it turned out to be repackaged cayenne sauce.

The city of Irwindale, Calif., the home of the Sriracha hot sauce factory, has sued Huy Fong twice in the past three years, alleging the production spaces spicy fumes may be hazardous to residents.

After the second lawsuit was filed, Huy Fong Foods is now countersuing the city for harassment.

Sriracha...right, so this stuff must be available in Florida.

What is the best way to get a (relatively) small amount? Liquid? Paste? Powder?

We grill chicken, cook burgers, and have an occasional steak. Also simple stuff like wraps etc.

And where is this on the "hot" scale?

    Here's a primer on Sriracha
Check the Asian sections of grocery stores for a squeeze bottle.
Heat is pretty good, but tasty.

I would be surprised if it is not availible in your supermarket. Most of the supermarkets here carry it
(careful the competitors are not nearly as good) I like it so much I buy some of this pocket carry

Its not that hot, really, its more tasty. I put it on lots of things.
I guess if I had to compare it to something, it is more like tobasco
in terms of hot but it has much more flavor.

Never seen anything smaller than a 1 pound bottle.

Used to be pretty hot before, but now it seems mild. Dunno if the recipe changed or if my taste buds acclimated. Taste can be described as a garlicky sweetness.
