Looking for AIWB holster for STI (based gun). Can't find one.

Looked at the Shaggy, the JM, Raven ACR, Keeper, the SME is a year out... not finding anything.

    It's for:

Any STI Tactical 4.15 holster should work fine, but the 'custom' holster makers only do certain holsters with certain options. Any suggestions? I carry without the threaded barrel, so that's not a concern.

Do they make a blue gun for it?
    Think for yourself. Question authority.

    I... wouldn't know. I've never ordered a blue gun?

I can tell you it fits in my Springfield Operator holster fine, but the front sight gets caught on the back pull, and the trigger guard gets iffy due to that it's square. It's just a railed 1911 holster needed with a tall front sight and squared guard. Nothing that different.

Ahh. I would've guessed the slide profile was different enough and the trigger guard different enough to cause issues.

1911's can be a pain in the butt for holsters so generally I ask if it will fit a holster made for the Springfield Operator.

And jeez. I've heard people use G17 holsters for these without issue. Some guys use CZ97 holsters just fine.

It's not like STI hasn't sold more than a few guns.

Just needs a taller sight channel and a squared guard, compared to an Operator. It's still just a 1911 where ever the holster touches it, really.

Seems doable then. I know the taller sights don't pose much of an issue for me. Backlog does but it is still doable.

Well, I'll take it! Let me know how much and how. Don't see any pics on your website. Does yours tuck in the grip really well? Have a leg pad like the Keeper? I wear really tight tops.

    It does for me.

I don't think it's necessary with orionz's holster design. He accomplishes tucking the slide in a different way, but it still works well.
