A 92 compact with replaceable front sight AND a vertec backstrap? This is exactly what I've been wanting.

My hands were crowded on the 92 compact I had, I just didn't like it. But I do like the direction Beretta seems to be taking with this model. Hopefully there will be more models with dovetailed sights and more features in the future. I'm hoping they make some Centurions.

    Yep, they're making a 92x Centurian.

With the 92X Compact out, the LTT version can't be far behind.

And a standard fullsize. Very cool. I hope they do a Centurion on the regular curved frame but the Vertec grip is growing on me. I could always put on a Houge conversion but I love some fancy G10's on my 92's.

Myself as well. I have a 9mm Vertec, and a Vertec with a .22 conversion kit and a can.

A Vertec frame with a set of LTT grips is very nice. I can only imagine what a 92X Compact would be like - and I am going to find out.

Of the Vertecs listed, I think the compact lines are the best to my eyes.

One thing I was thinking of was that dovetail slides for compacts cannot be long off for the secondary market.

How does a 92c compare in size to a P229? Anyone have a legacy 92c & P229 for a side by side comparison?
