$350 for the Vertec? I'd have excused myself, stopped by a cash machine and bought it on the spot.

Do you think Nyeti has all those cool revolvers because he finds a great deal, and then passes them up because he doesn't think he can spare the cash at the moment?
Some of buys were "payday loans". Some were "I have this gun I have not shot in years". Some were me just throwing out a number not expecting they would say yes.
The Vertec is just a friend who never shot it and knows I want one...

Gadfly,
Put me on the list of yet another guy that would gladly buy that from you if you didn't want to keep it...
Get in line you animals!

I took the Vertec and shot it today. Trigger was OK. I finally realized it was bone dry and dusty. A few drops of lube....Sweeeeeeet. The trigger slicked right up and came alive with a little oil. I took it apart and internally it looked unfired. No rub marks or shinny spots. Just factory finish.
Did not have time to do the paperwork as the shop was very busy. But I told them I was all in to buy it and will pick it up when I get back into town from business next week.
** The Gun was part of a large consignment of guns from a well known holster maker. The outsides have scratches and dings from mold making, but internally, most were unfired... I am a lucky guy sometimes.
