    9x23 "Pro"

    Todd's SACS inspired me. So....

    Initial thoughts:

    Finish: Black-T.
Checkering: Very good. I prefer it a little sharper. But very good otherwise.
    Thumb Safety: Good.
Trigger: Ok. Bit of creep, not very smooth, little heavy. Just like a real Pro in my experience.
Magazines: Will be exploring, but stock mags are going to get some use.
Grip safety: disengages at 1/3 travel. Not bad.
Mag well: Better than the 10mm, not bad.

Retail price on this happy little fellow was just over $3300 (the extra bbl added a bit).

    What's the extra barrel for?

Why was it acceptable that they forgot to finish the bushing?

I've never seen a Pro that didn't have a stainless bushing.

I can explain it to you. I can’t understand it for you.

I too love the 9x23. Years ago I shot a .38 Super Comp commander in IDPA and carried the same gun with a 9x23 barrel. Winchester Silvertip chronoed an honest 1350 fps out of a commander length barrel.
