Ford Raptor + Nurburgring = Some confused Germans

I can only imagine the shock at seeing somebody hooning a jacked up Ford pickup truck around the 'Ring...and I can only imagine the humiliation somebody in a Porsche GT3 must have felt if they ended up being passed by a drifter in a ridiculous baseball hat driving a pickup truck.

I can only imagine it's the level of shock everybody else experiences when they first encounter German porn.

Seeing that thing coming up behind your sports car in the rear view would have to be the automotive equivalent of that dust cover for the AR...

As a SVT owner, I do so love the Ford Raptor!

I've been around the Nürburgring... and the idea of doing it in a truck is absolutely terrifying.

I like the Raptor and have even thought about getting one. At least one regular here on the forum owns one and is very happy with it.

But even joking, it's ridiculous to suggest that it could keep up with -- much more pass -- a GT3. I think less of you as a human being now.

Given that we are talking about the Nürburgring, I would say that it is definitely possible, depending on the fortitude of the respective drivers. If you haven't seen it before, YouTube Sabine Schmidt (sp?).

OK, but if you throw drivers of wildly different ability into the mix, you could say "Did you see that Yugo? Smoked a GT3 on the 'Ring!"

I wouldn't be surprised if a Yugo smoked a GT3. Sounds about right.

I really like Tanner Foust. He is the only thing that makes the turd that is American Top Gear even remotely watchable.

I volunteer to comfort Sabine Schmidt if she's upset.

I don't think the drivers would have to be of wildly different ability. That being said, if you had Sabine Schmidt drive both a Raptor and GT3 around the Nürburgring, I agree that she would get a better time with the GT3.
