    S80 Colt, 1k since refinishing

    The original application of Cerakote by Colt's vendor was a little soft. So, I broke her in, then sent it to Cerakote for refinishing (they owe me a few favors).

    This is after the second 500 round outing:















    Spent the 500 rounds working on draws, splits, and reloads. These three plates too the brunt of the lead

    I'm impressed by the way that stuff's clinging to the barrel hood like grim death. A bad Cerakote job can darn near leave the barrel hood in the white from shop wear alone, without a round being fired...

    I have yet to see a CCS "Tactical Package" pistol that didnt run very well. This is no exception. Not too tight, just a well built pistol.
