The Custom Shop Colt and the CQB (along with some other guns) were just Cerakoted:

Long term testing on the CQB and the Colt to follow shortly.
PS - my 9mm/9x23 SACS "Pro" just arrived. Nothing like a new gun to make you forget your worries!

I think Wilson does a better good job in the final finishing but Baer makes a solid running pistol, especially for the money spent.Originally Posted by SlimTim
The Baer TRS is what I would choose with the only downside that it has a blued finish, while the CQB has Wilson's Armor-Tuff coating. Armor-Tuff will make the gun more rust resistant but it wears like bluing.

Either seek out Meloniting and/or W DLC (over electroless Nickel).
Combining them offers the best that I am aware of.
