I live in AZ so there is not much SCUBA here. I use the timing bezel on my Seiko all the time. I find it handier than going to my phone for the stopwatch or timer function.

I use mine all the time to mark when stuff goes on the BBQ.
Chicken's been on 25 minutes so far.

just FYI... women's luxury watches lose a LOT of value.

    Yup.

Dive bezel gets used for timing anything from food to exercise time.

GMT bezel ... well it's kinda obvious and since I make often make overseas calls (or send emails), it's faster to use than my phone.

I don't know about the best but the following places have a good reputation in the secondary watch market. Caveat, I haven't had dealings with them yet.

As JodyH said, women's luxury watches do take a big hit in value when trying to sell them.

Got the watch in and confirmed it does have an 18mm lug width. This’ll do for a beater for a while.

    This.

I routinely use the rotating bezel on my watch to time things. It is a must have feature for me in a general purpose watch.

A well designed chronograph is an extremely useful daily tool as well.

And sadly - as much as I love the Rolex dayton heritage, the omega speedmaster is better for actual use imo

Screw down pushers on the Rollie make the timing process clunky.

Though the Speedmaster gets you only swimming pool Level water resistance (thats not its intended environ) I’ve done all sorts of messed up junk wearing one and had no issues
