I was surprised to get a call from my local Rolex AD for Datejust 36.
Going to be my first green watch.

@frank , what is your wrist (band) measurement? I am having a hard time visualizing how large a U50 is.

Stay the course, @HeavyDuty. U2...U2...U2...
Just say no to ungainly Lego hands.
I like Lego hands… U50 is the best U IMO.

I actually like the U50 hands.
My concern about the U1 and even more the U2 is case thickness. U50 is thinner, and less likely to prang into doorframes and such.
I’m not going to do anything until I can try all three side by side, which means either a trip to Raleigh (I’m told you can beg a visit if you wave a credit card and a commitment to buy) or waiting for road shows to resume. Or a trip to Canada which seems silly.
Watchbuys seems to be a good bunch, but they sure make it hard to make an informed purchase - so my wallet remains closed.

Yeah, the picture makes it look a bit larger on my wrist than it seems to me in person. I am used to wearing these huge Garmin watches, so maybe it's just the contrast.
I could stand for it to be a bit larger. A UX may be in my future.
EDIT: I noticed the comment on watchbuys. These folks were great. They called me after my purchase, discussed the watch and shipping options, and confirmed my address. I had the watch two days after buying, via UPS 2-day signature confirmation.
