Thread: Obligatory Wristwatch Thread

Bought on whim. Bezel and insert replaced with a coin edge/tan&brown

Leaving any Rolex/JLC/Patek/omega in my car while I hit a mountain bike trail is just a total non starter

This is a great piece for that role.

I think the bezel adds a good vintage feel.

What airplane is that? I miss “Round Dials.”

    The Garmin’s are pretty slick.

It’s called the “Seiko suit” series.

A lot of them are understated. Comes with a similar bracelet that doesn’t taper - I replace it with a tapered from strap code as I don’t dig straight 22mm bracelets

Are those new at an AD?

Yes. And they are not for sale

Which means someone like you or I has already been promised these and the AD is holding them to keep the cases looking full. To give the illusion that you can walk in off the street with 10-17k and just buy one. Which you can’t.

I know a guy who has a couple of those pieces. And he’s an unapologetic Rolex fan boy…but

Even he knows this is total bullshit and has started finding interest in other brands.
