Yeah, I need another watch like I need another stripped lower, but I'm still thinking of getting one. I wonder how durable the PVD finish is. I had some (relatively cheap) PVD coated stuff several years ago and it wasn't very durable at all.

I have an Orient that is PVD finished and has held up really well.

The PVD on my S&B Ambush is holding up well after a few smacks into hard objects (like a safe) but it's only been a few weeks. I'm getting used to wearing a watch now so I'm a little more cautious. Here's the S&B Springfield I was checking out.

Really digging the stainless S&B Ambush. I've liked the idea of an analog-digital hybrid but this is the first design I could actually see myself wearing. Would love to see it offered in Ti.

Shenaniguns, any chance you might have calipers to measure the lug width and case thickness? Couldn't find the info on their site. Also, out of curiosity, do you find the backlit display as easy to read in the dark as it appears in the review you linked to earlier?
