I've never even been a fan of the Aqua Terra and I love the new turquoise one. It really is a beautiful watch.

The last thing I need is another mid tier/entry Swiss diver. But the color and style of this Mido makes me want one.

I like that a lot. I’m biased as olive/navy is one of my favorite color combos, but that to me begs for a good navy NATO or sailcloth strap.

It would be the reverse of what I’m currently doing with my Orient:

Yesterday, we took our son, his friends and a couple of other parents to the Great Big Game Show. It's put on by the same folks who run escape rooms.

In this case, we got paired with some strangers, split up into teams and did game show stuff. One of the challenges was to hit your buzzer at exactly five seconds, then another time at ten, and finally a third time at twenty. I won every round out of the 16 contestants. I looked at every one else and I was the only one with an analog watch. So before the challenge started, I practiced counting to five seconds using my Tudor Pelagos as reference. When it came time for the challenge, I had my internal metronome calibrated, and the win wasn't terribly hard. In fact I was only .02 seconds off of the twenty second mark.
I don't like making plans for the day, because words like "premeditated" get thrown around the courtroom.

I ordered and installed a deployant clasp originally from the Portugeiser and it instantly changed the feel of the Mk XVIII to a more luxury vibe. That said, I unfortunately don’t love it and feel the Ti pin buckle it came with matches the rest of the appointment better.

I find myself wondering if I could get it DLC coated - that would be perfect.

I'm surprised the single fold works comfortably with the pin buckle length strap.
