    That tiny tub of SG will last a lifetime too.

    Motor Oil does?

    I just have a preference for non toxic stuff ... that's why I gravitate to EWL for oil.

    I don't know for certain but FP10/WeaponShield is 10 weight oil based and handles the salts very well; much better than the Slip2k products.

    Maybe so but I honestly don't spend enough on "gun" lube to really feel as I'm losing out financially. I don't feel like I was suckered by "the man".

    I'm not saying one is "better" than the other, just that cost is often one of the major reasons people give for using auto products.

    Different strokes I guess. To each his own.
