    Less than Ken Hackathorn does.

I clean and add a few drops every couple thousand rounds.
    I'm up for a afhf 2000 round, p30 Mobil-1 challenge in August.

Good question. My lube schedule is likely far more intensive than it needs to be. I wipe my duty pistols down and re-lube usually once every two weeks regardless of round count. Every time I shoot my duty pistol or Ar's for training, I clean the weapon afterwards and re-lube. I typically re-lube during the lunch break of any training classes I attend on each day of training.

I just took the m&p pistol armorer course yesterday and the instructor said the same thing, though he made sure to say that the company does not specifically endorse it.
