    M71 and a 1914 LC Smith

A 1947 M71 in decent shape, with a 1914 LC Smith in great shape (Haraise, you can keep your comments to yourself ). The Smith wacked a grouse over the weekend.

Sorry about the grainy pics - the cell phone does great outside. Inside, not so much.

I have plans for an Idaho elk hunt for that 71. But this year, it's going to Ontario for moose by canoe.

A GB Small Hunters Axe for variety:

    Cheers!

Are you sure you can handle that 71? It's a repeater ya know.

    Beautiful ol' Winchester.
In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.” ― C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man
