And Nary Was Any Kydex Ever Seen

As they say in the big city, "Kickin' it old school." (Do they still say that? I don't get out much.)

For you very low capacity, super low speed guys.

    4" 66-1 in horse/shark Sparks VMII.

    It carries nicely.

    I approve.
    Books. Bikes. Boomsticks.

I can explain it to you. I can’t understand it for you.

    Isn't that special.

Is that a spacer to tuck the butt in?

The only spacer involved is a soft side mounted love handle.

It comes out of the holster fast regardless.

    Cool, man!

I'm looking to pick up a holster for my 4" 19-4, so this is a timely thread.

How do you like carrying it without a hammer guard?

Very nice. That Sparks VMII is a superb holster. Love the wheel gun also.

    (Oops, double-post, tried to edit.)

Very nice. That Sparks VMII is a superb holster. Love the wheel gun also- I have a much-loved early Model 66 with stainless rear sight that was a SC game warden gun. On my short list of 'don't sell' guns.

Nice holster, but I'm afraid all the bluing has worn off of your gun.

I like leather/horsehide Kramer IWB for my custom blued Ruger GP100, and a kydex Blade-Tech IWB for my stainless steel Security Six. The horsehide is gentler on the GP's finish, and the kydex doesn't do anything to the Security Six's brushed and polished stainless steel that some Mother's Mag Wheel polish and a rag cant resolve in minutes.

    Best, Jon

Just got it Monday, so I really haven't logged any time with it. No feedback to offer other than it feels good thus far. I wanted a holster for the K guns, so why not a carry holster? The 66 may work its way into the rotation.
