    Who says gunwriters can't shoot?

    Attachment 151

I ended up 14th in ESP, and also got this trophy for being the top gunwriter at the match, which is (to steal a line from Tam) a lot like being the tallest midget at the state fair. But 14th at my first IDPA World/Nats isn't too shabby, and it definitely reinforced where my weaknesses are as an IDPA shooter.

I actually ditched the Down Zero Challenge in favor of trying to straight up win matches. After a few club matches, I realized the trade-off in speed wasn't worth it.

I ended up 14th, and I guess being in the top 20 ESP shooters in the world is an okay place to be for now. My goal at this match was to place in the top 10, and I gave that away on the first day with a procedural and 3 mikes.

Congrats Caleb! An aquaintance told me that while Ayoob was not blinding fast he was quite a good shot. But congrats on the title.

Which, for those who don't know, is another award Caleb has won in the past.
