Got a new Three gun rifle and love it. (JP upper)

With no mag in it it weighs 9 pounds 8 ounces as its set up now.

Well I took it out and shot it today. Very happy with it. It ran fine with not malfunctions and it was 34 degrees out.
Pleasantly surprised with the velocity this gun out ran my Noveske by 132 fps with my 77 grain Nosler load and by 127 fps with my ball load.
As for accuracy I am sure it will get better but it still beat the Noveske. The 77 grain Nosler load averaged 1.36 in my Noveske last time I tested it and the ball load was generally around 2.5 to 3 inches. So I am very happy that the JP fired ball this well. Also the point of impact from the ball and 77 grain load was very close with in an inch at 100 yards. I am going to just shoot 55 grain ball in this gun except for truly long shots down south at big matches.

JP Rifle log. 75 round fired

Used it in a three gun on Sunday and took first in open and 3rd in Tac optics. Rifle never missed a beat.

Not bad with the optics included.

Looks to be a shooter too. Really surprised at the velocity differences between the JP and Noveske. What's the spec is the chamber cut to?

Nice. John-Paul knows a thing or two about making an accurate AR.

You planning on shooting any of the 3GN partner matches this year, Alaskapopo?

Did some more accuracy work today with this gun using some loads I had lying around for my precision rifle. Also found out my last accuracy testing was at 106 yards not 100 yards. Did not bother to range the targets last time. I put up my own target stand this time at 100 yards.

The Sierra load averaged .88 in the JP and in the Noveske last time I tried this load it was doing 1.12 while my Larue Stealth did .86. So basically my light barreled JP is doing as well as my heavy barreled Larue Stealth for accuracy.

    Loving this rifle.

I am going to the Surefire Texas Multigun Nationals. I was worried this gun would not be ready by then.

Chamber is wyld on the JP.
