28mi through DC traffic. Jealous?
I have an indoor range approx 3 miles from my house but I NEVER go there. Something about not wanting to get shot by one of the idiots prevents it.
My local outdoor private club is 12 miles driveway to gate. It's an easy drive too, none of that DC traffic to contend with.It's pretty fantastic as members have their own keys to the gate and we can let ourselves in as we please, dawn to dusk and Sundays after NOON.
18 miles through DC traffic, which is 30 to 60 minutes depending on the time and/or day of the week.

Actually, it's taken me more than 2hr on a few occasions. One little fender bender or, heaven forbid, a dusting of snowflakes and the entire Beltway comes to a grinding halt.
