It looks like the S2carry has the Shadow2 frame, not a legacy CZ75 frame. The difference is visually subtle, but significant when you hold them. The beavertail on the S2 is more rounded. Not quite as rounded as a P07/9 though, which I’ve carried AIWB comfortably, including while hiking in rugged terrain.

I've never carried a S2 AIWB, but I think it would work fine. Looking forward to hearing if that's true.

Someone please explain to me exactly what this does that a P09C Nocturne, at less than 1/3rd the price, doesn't do, as a concealed carry tool.

Nocturne: Same optics mount, same crappy Omega trigger system, same overall size, ~3 ounces lighter mass weight, proper actual tritium (rather than Luminova type) night sights.

Convince me that this isn't actually an aluminum-frame Nocturne for 3x the price.

Did you read the thread ? Every point you raised is answered earlier in the three.

The S2 uses the legacy CZ trigger NOT the Omega Trigger and the S2 frame, including the abbreviated one on this is different than either standard CZ75 or the P-07/09 grip.

Personally the S2 grip is the only one of the three I find worth bothering with.

I’ve yet to see a P09C Nocturne with actual tritium night sights. Every one I’ve seen has the Super Luminova sights.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion. For defensive/duty use I prefer the Omega trigger system in the P07/09 to any other TDA (including the S2) because of its Glocklike simplicity, reliability, and durability. The OEM action breaks in nicely with a bit of lubrication and an 18# hammer spring. With a CGW Prograde kit, it's comparable to the best 'Swiss watch' TDA actions.

For whatever reason, my hands/fingers weren't compatible with the 07/09, and I could occasionally pull the trigger in DA, without a round going off. Cajun never could satisfactorily resolve that. It wasn't an issue with the Shadow, so that alone makes the S2 Carry interesting to me.

Yeah, interrupting the DA trigger pull if the trigger fingertip hit the frame would cause the sear to catch on the decock notch.

But... I have a late-model P07 that I cannot make to do that. As well, reports from the Nocturne suggest that this issue may have been resolved.

Just picked up my new CZ. Is there something simple, like a hammer spring replacement, that will reduce the trigger pull without compromising reliability or safety?

That is good news on the P07 change, if that fixes the issue. It is hard for me to imagine I was the only one who experienced that. I was always somewhat incredulous that the factory wouldn't have identified and designed a fix for that issue. Unless, it was not fixable with the previous design?

How heavy are the trigger pulls? I’ve been seeing conflicting information on YouTube videos and CZ’s website. Some reviews have it like the compact while others are reporting an 12 LB DA and 5 LB SA
