One of my former CPs out in LAX was also a part timer in the LAPD Hollywood Division. Entire family were either LAPD or LASO. We flew together a bunch and formed an ad hoc “two member book of the month club”. Not much to do at times on a 5 or 6 hour transcon flight right? He introduced me to Harry Bosch which kind of enabled me to really learn the layout of SOCAL. I in turn, supplied him with Lucas Davenport. (The North Woods fascinated him.) You're welcome. Having done a bunch of U.C. work in NYC on mob and outlaw biker related matters, I can tell you that there is definitely a lot of humor involved. (And some not so funny stuff as well.)

I saw a car this afternoon with a NJ plate on the front and a CT plate on the rear. Not sure I get the logic of that, other than maybe the screws were buggered up.
