    Thanks!

One of my former CPs out in LAX was also a part timer in the LAPD Hollywood Division. Entire family were either LAPD or LASO. We flew together a bunch and formed an ad hoc “two member book of the month club”. Not much to do at times on a 5 or 6 hour transcon flight right? He introduced me to Harry Bosch which kind of enabled me to really learn the layout of SOCAL. I in turn, supplied him with Lucas Davenport. (The North Woods fascinated him.) He did a lot of UC stuff and his humor and storytelling made the longest trips enjoyable. He was out flying the day of the festivities in North Hollywood…he jokingly always kicked himself for that.

You're welcome. Having done a bunch of U.C. work in NYC on mob and outlaw biker related matters, I can tell you that there is definitely a lot of humor involved. (And some not so funny stuff as well.)

Hope you enjoy it. I'm reading it currently, myself.

I saw a car this afternoon with a NJ plate on the front and a CT plate on the rear. Not sure I get the logic of that, other than maybe the screws were buggered up.

A reverse mullet - party in the front, business the back?

Here I thought tossing Necco Wafers into the tollbooth on 294 when I was in HS was cutting edge…
